Missions -

      Has someone asked the question: Why missions? Why should I be concerned about the global harvest of souls?
      Sacred scripture is full of explicit as well as implicit references to God's will for world evangelism. Most evangelical believers know the Great Commission: "Go ye into all the world."  There are lots of other missions verses in God's Word. Here is a partial listing of missionary scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments.
      Our church is actively sending members into the community and across the globe to spread the GOOD NEWS about Jesus and his power to save those which are lost.

Adult Ministries -

      Activities for the adults can be a challenge.  With hundreds of things going on in our lives, it's hard to find time to add to that.  But, when we engage in activities as a body of believers, we are encouraged and strengthened by it.  Joining a Sunday School class is a great way to grow and bond with a fellow believer!  Another great activity is our Adult Choir!  Every week we get together to learn new songs and at least once a month we provide a special song to the church.  Throughout the year, we also provide excellent music for Easter, Christmas and other holidays.
      We have other activities that are found on the Calendar of Events page.  One of which is our "Game and Grub" night which is open to the community.  So, engage in some activities and get to know and encourage one another.  You may want to also read our Adult activities page .  Come join us!

College Ministries -

      Our future seems to be tough for our young adults  With the challenges of school, work and possible living on their own. The young adults going through college are dealing with a new stress level they have never experienced before.  Our staff want to help encourage those during this time of their lives.  We also encourage each college student to engage in thier local Baptist Student Ministry at the college campus.  If you are in the Mildred area and attend Navarro College, here's the link to the BSM - www.navarrobsm.org
      The Suday School lessons are structured to better suit the needs of a young adult whether you are a new married couple, single or those seeking fellowship with people of thier age group.

Student/Youth Ministry -

      TEENAGERS!  They are full of energy and need loads of activities to meet their needs.  We have joined the Sixth through Twelfth grades together just as the Mildred ISD has done. 
      For the Junior High ages, we have great activities that challenge them and encourage growth in the Lord.
For the High School ages, we have many oppurtunities to assist them in spiritual growth and preparedness to be a young adult.  This world is not easy to live in nor is it helping our teenagers make good sound judgements with life challenges. 
      One great way to help with this endevour is our Sunday School!  Great teachings that are geared for these ages as well as other activites help your teanager cope with the challenges they face in todays sociaty.
Wednesday's after school is out, the students (between 6-12th grade) come to play basketball, socialize, work on home work or just hang out.  They are fed at 6:30 and then at 7:00 we have worship!  Come join us!

Children's Ministries -

      Kids.  What a joy to have them running around with smiles on their faces!  We have the greatest volunteers in our Children's departments that take care of the little ones as well as display the teachings of Christ in their daily lives.
      Team Kids has grown well over the years and has become a really neat way to help our youngsters mature in the scriptures as well as leadership skills.  Team Kids meets every Wednesday night in the main building of the church.
      Children's Choir has been such a blessing to the church!  Seeing the children sing to the Lord is refreshing and a blessing.  About 3-4 times a year, the Children's Choir presents the special music in our Sunday morning worship service! 
      For the kids, Sunday School is a great time of fellowship as well as a time for studying the Word of God!  Children remember the stories in the scriptures so well that it helps them with live challenges that they WILL face. 

Pre-School -

      Infants are a joy to be around!  Taking care of thier physical needs is our upmost responsibility.  Whether it's feeding, changing diapers or safeguarding them during play time, we really enjoy being a part of their lives as well as the parents.
      There are beds for the infants that need it as well as seperate rooms for the others to play with toys and each other. We ask you to provide the diapers and other required items that are needed to take complete care of the child while attending our facilities.  Sunday mornings, we have two adults and up to three assisting members of our church working this department.  This ministry is available for most of our church related events and activities.
