Tony Neal - Pastor

Brother Tony Neal has been the pastor of Mildred Baptist Church since 1987 when he moved to Mildred from his first pastorate in Berthoud, Colorado. Tony received his Bachelor's Degree from Hardin-Simmons University in 1976 and a Master of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1981.

Tony's wife, Vickie, teaches music at Mildred Elementary School. They have three children; Carrie, Kelsey, and Brett. Carrie Neal lives in Florida, with Tony & Vickie's granddaughter, Isabella Grace Neal. Kelsey Neal McMullen lives in Waco with her husband Leroy, and they are pursuing their goal of being missionaries to Uganda. Brett graduated from Mildred High in the spring of 2009.

Tony has led Mildred Baptist Church for over twenty years, and the church has been a growing and vibrant congregation during his pastorate. He is dynamic in the pulpit, and has a true pastor's heart. When he has the time, Tony enjoys riding his Harley or visiting old friends over a cup of coffee. Come and get to know him, he will bless your life!

Minister of Music and Education

Wayne joined the staff of Mildred Baptist Church as Minister of Music/Education in November of 2011. He is a graduate (Music Education) of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and the Seminary Extension Division (Christian Education) of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has been involved with churches in central and north Texas serving in the areas of music, youth, and Christian education. He and his wife Cindy have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and three granddaughters. Hobbies are reading, home improvement projects, and spending time with family and friends.

Minister of Youth

Byron Ayers has been the student pastor at Mildred Baptist Church 2002-2005 and has once again rejoined our staff in the spring of 2011. Byron has a Bachelor’s Degree from A&M Commerce and is in the process of completing his Master’s Degree in Theology.
Byron’s wife Tara serves alongside him with our students. They have three children; Ally, Gracie, and Daniel. Byron has served as student pastor in a Southern Baptist church in North Carolina 2005-2009. He loves sports, building stuff, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. Allison Bates - Church Secretary

Allison Bates has been serving as MBC administative assistant since September 2008 and is a member of Mildred Baptist Church. She has been a stay-at-home mom/wife for the past 7 years. Allison loves sports, especially baseball and football. She enjoys reading, bowshooting, and most of all, playing with her kids and spending time with her husband. Jimmy, her husband, served in the US Navy for nine years. The Navy brought their family to Mildred, TX in December 2005 when he had orders to be a Navy Recruiter out of Corsicana. He fulfilled his committment with the Navy in October 2008. Their family loved Mildred Baptist Church and Mildred Elementary so much they decided to stay in Mildred. Jimmy is now a supervisor for a company named JTEKT. They have two children, Alyssa and Aidan. Alyssa attends Mildred Elementary. Aidan will attend Mildred Elementary in 2011.
